"COMPOSITES" SERIES
MOD. 001 - NORTHERN EUROPEAN NEOCLASSIC

With our tenth publication we begin a series of composite sample sets, built using the demo versions of commercial sets, which will accompany the other instruments in the catalogue: as the first release of this new series we propose a neoclassical model, generically Central European, with three manuals and a sound arrangement that is as rich and varied as possible compatibly with the limits imposed by the demos used.

The sample set "MOD. 001 - NORTHERN EUROPEAN NEOCLASSICAL", available free of charge, refers generically to Dutch and German styles without claiming to faithfully copy specific models and should be suitable for all German baroque literature - but also beyond, at least up to Mendelssohn; naturally, it also offers abundant resources for the practice of improvisation.

The following demos were used to compile the composite, which must be installed:
Sonus Paradisi - Bückeburg, Janke Organ
Sonus Paradisi - Noordbroek
Piotr Grabovski - Düren

Three 54-key keyboards; 30-key pedalboard

The stop's list was designed above all to maintain coherence with respect to the sample sets used, at the cost of some compromises (such as the lack of a Krummhorn at the Rückpositiv, for which no compatible samples are available). In particular, we wanted to avoid as much as possible that in the same organ body there were ranks tremmed from different sample sets at the same time, thus ensuring homogeneity.
Another intrinsic limitation, due to the specifications of the SP-Bückeburg demo, is the absence of the direct channel in the Pedal section: we believed that it was not a problem given that in a normal Werkprinzip structure the Pedal stops are normally placed in lateral towers quite distant from the organist's position.

RAM required:

20 bit, all channels and all ranks, multi-attack and multi-release:about 43.8 Gb

20 bit, all channels except tremmed ranks, multi-attack and multi-release:about 32.7 Gb

20 bit, Diffuse channel only, all ranks, multi-attack and multi-release:about 15.5 Gb

Console

The "Console" page shows, in vector graphics, keyboards, pedals and stops controls, all assignable via MIDI.

Mixer

The Mixer features dedicated controls for each organ body, allowing maximum flexibility in choosing the best virtual listening position in the stereo downmix and the best balance in multichannel audio systems: consistently with the demos used, three perspectives are available for Ruckpositiv, Hauptwerck and Oberwerck while the Pedal is limited to the two diffuse and distant perspectives.
There are four programmable memories and two presets available.

Detuning

The Detuning panel offers the possibility of varying the degree of detuning for the flue and reeds stops independently on RW, HW, OW and Pedal.
